AKEMD's Electronic Compass Development Kit offers a quick experience for electronic compassing and a basic environment for development of its applications. The kit includes an electronic compassing sensor board with a microprocessor for trigonometric computation, demonstration software and USB interface driver for PC operation. The demonstration software has a calibration routine for enabling the sensor unit to adapt to user's compassing platform. The software source is provided in generic C-language allowing system engineers to understand an electronic compassing topology and to assist porting it to user's system.
